ESL Tutoring Assistance - K to 12 in home (local area) tutoring on reading, writing, conversation, and grammar.
ESL Conversation Groups - Classes to ESL level adults or students to practise your communication skills, in groups with your co-workers, friends, neighbors or on an individual basis. Reduced group rates apply if you have a group of 4 or larger. These are done in the comfort of your home, on a pre-paid basis, based on the numbers that attend, and the number of weeks booked in advance.
The tutorial/assistance process can be fun, should always be friendly, and must see results.
The tutor is expected to :
- Become a partner in the learning process, to make the student feel confident in his/her ability to learn, so that the student's output will increase.
- Suggest improvements seen while working on papers or projects, and explain to the student's comprehension why the change is suggested.
- Keep enough distance from the work to remain objective, so that the student's personal style and ability show through.
- ESL Conversation classes are also available for children and adults. Rates are reduced for groups of 4 or more. Classes held in a group member's home, for set length and time. Call for prices.
